The Town of North Kingstown’s Municipal Curbside Collection Program for 1-4 unit households uses a single-stream, every-other-week automated cart collection system. Each household receives a Town-issued 96-gallon cart assigned to the address at no cost.
Replacement or additional carts are available for a one-time $75 fee. Residents may obtain a cart by mailing a check payable to the Town of North Kingstown to: Dept. of Public Works, 2050 Davisville Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852. A cart will be delivered to the appropriate address, or residents may pick up a cart at the DPW office (cash or check only).
Note: The carts are property of the Town and should remain at the assigned address. Residents moving within North Kingstown should leave their assigned cart at the original address.
