[ARCHIVED] NK Free Library

ALL PROGRAMMING AND SUNDAY HOURS SUSPENDED THOUGH END OF MARCH

ALL PROGRAMMING AND SUNDAY HOURS SUSPENDED THROUGH THE END OF MARCH.

Out of an abundance of caution for the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the library will be suspending Sunday hours and all programming effective immediately through the end of March. The current story time sessions will be cancelled through their last class on April 16. We will continue monitoring the virus and state of affairs around Rhode Island to make decisions about programming through April.

Our greatest concern is the health and wellness of our community. We will update you as decisions are made within the library, town, and state that effect library opertaions. We would like to remind patrons that the library has many digital collections available to cardholders including the following:

•    eBooks, eAudiobooks, and video streaming through Overdrive

•    eBooks, eAudiobooks, video/TV streaming and music through Hoopla

•    Video streaming through Kanopy

•    Music streaming through Freegal

•    Craft tutorials through Creativebug

We thank you for your understanding for the seriousness of this situation. For updates about the spread of the virus you can check out the resources on our website, or view the town’s update as of March 10.
